Why? Every box has its fair share of unwanted sugar or sweeteners. So I decided to make my own. It&#8217;s super easy and has nothing that will harm your health, only delicious goodies. Here it is Homemade Chocolate Granola.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teresamisu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_1218.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2148\" title=\"Homemade granola\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teresamisu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_1218.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"576\" height=\"381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.terezaschoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_1218.png 800w, https:\/\/www.terezaschoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_1218-480x317.png 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups raw, whole rolled oats<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup raw nuts, chopped (any nuts you can find)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup raw seeds (sunflower or pumpkin)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0cup unsweetened dried fruit, chopped (optional)<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp raw honey (you can replace it by maple or agave syrup)<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp coconut oil (aka coconut butter) or other healthy cooking oil<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 large pinch fine sea salt<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp raw chocolate powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preparation<\/h2>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 200\u00ba. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and use your hands to mix well.<\/p>\n<p>The coconut oil has to be liquid. Be sure to mix it all through the other ingredients so there aren\u2019t any chunks of oil left.<\/p>\n<p>Spread the mixture in a thin layer on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, until very lightly toasted.<\/p>\n<p>For raw lovers dehydrate the mixture 5-6 hours at 115\u00baF in a food dehydrator instead.<\/p>\n<p>Cool it down before serving.<\/p>\n<p>The fun part of granola is that you can be very creative and customise your own.
