Well this is the healthy version and I swear when you taste this Raw Banoffee Pie you will never ever touch the nasty full of sugar one. This recipe was a inspiration from a amazing blog called <a href=\"http:\/\/juliaandlibby.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Julia &amp; Libby<\/a>. These two ladies make incredible healthy nourishing desserts &#8211; I&#8217;m an absolute fan of their website!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teresamisu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/First_Raw_Banoffee_Pie1.jpeg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3603\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teresamisu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/First_Raw_Banoffee_Pie1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.terezaschoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/First_Raw_Banoffee_Pie1.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/www.terezaschoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/First_Raw_Banoffee_Pie1-480x320.jpeg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Base<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups cashews<\/li>\n<li>1 cup brazil nuts<\/li>\n<li>\u00a04 tbsp of date paste (5 soaked dates blended with a bit of water)<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup of cacao nibs (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><em><br \/>\n<\/em>Filling<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 bananas<\/li>\n<li>3 avocados<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup of raw cacao powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup of rice malt syrup<\/li>\n<li>1 cup of crunchy peanut butter or almond<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Topping<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2x 400g cans of coconut milk or cream. (<em>These need to be kept in the fridge overnight,\u00a0a layer of cream will form on top. In a food processor blend the base ingredients until they are blended finely. Press into a pie dish and make sure the crust is 0.5 cm\u2019s thick so it doesn\u2019t crack when taken out of the dish. Place in the freezer.<br \/>\n2. Blend all the filling ingredients together until smooth. Place onto the base of the pie and then set in freezer for 10 minutes.<br \/>\n3. To make the topping,\u00a0\u00a0Place the can of coconut milk in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours (or overnight). This will cause the cream to separate from the milk.\u00a0Open the can of coconut milk and scrape out the cream into a medium sized bowl. Hint: I always open the can from the bottom and pour the milk out into a separate container before scraping out the cream. You can use the saved milk for smoothies\u00a0and other recipes.\u00a0Add the vanilla and raw honey.<br \/>\n4. Whip the cream with a hand mixer until fluffy.
