Every month they present a challenge for bloggers and we have to make it work in our own way. This time the challenge is to make a Traditional Slovenian Breakfast. It consists of bread, butter, honey, milk and an apple. Of course you will not see a ordinary bread on my blog, so I mixed it up a bit. I made the Revolutionary Energy Bread, Plum Chia Jam, Sweet Vanilla Almond milk with an apple (that I approve).<\/p>\n<h2>Revolutionary Energy Bread<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup sunflower seeds<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup pumpkin seeds<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup almonds<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd\u00a0cup oats<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp chia<\/li>\n<li>4 Tbsp psyllium husk<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0Tbsp maple syrup<\/li>\n<li>3\u00a0Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd\u00a0cup water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preheat your oven on 180\u00b0C. Mic all dry ingredients and combine with wet. Leave to sit in the bread tin for about an hour. Bake for 20 minutes, after remove from bread tin and bake on the other site for another 40 minutes. Wait for it to cool down and than serve.<\/p>\n<h2>Plum Chia Jam<\/h2>\n<div class=\"ERSIngredients\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 large, softened blood (or other) plums<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 tbsp chia seeds<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bc tsp vanilla powder\/paste OR \u00bd tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Tbsp lemon juice<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">pinch of ginger (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ERSClear\">Chop plums roughly and discard pits. In a small bowl, mash plums gently until broken up and juicy. Add chia seeds and vanilla powder and then pour into a 400ml sterilised glass jar. Refrigerate for 60 minutes to gel up and thicken.
