Culinary yoga retreat?<\/h4>\n\n

Every morning we will have a yoga practice with a view of the sea, shared with us by\u00a0Nathalie Gesche<\/strong>, a yogini who has lived alongside Tertsa for many years and will make you supple and flowing in a single week; the accommodation, in Cretan style, simple and clean, will be taken care of by energetic\u00a0Lambros<\/strong>; and for healthy meals, besides me of course, Lambros’s mother, who cooks typical southern Cretan food.<\/h2>\n\n

Why Tertsa?<\/h2>\n\n

Tertsa is a special place where you will be accompanied by the sounds of nature, the roar of the sea and a friendly climate; papayas, bananas and pomegranates will be within arm’s reach. Pack your swimsuit and a towel; for sunscreen, local beautician\u00a0Rea<\/strong>, who mixes cosmetics and gathers Cretan herbs according to the power of the moon, can help. A week in a different environment will give you newly awakened energy after the winter.<\/p>\n\n

Food<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Tereza’s Choice retreat is also very culinary, and healthy eating is of great importance. The food is traditionally Cretan, fresh and filled with sunshine. Breakfasts are varied and enriched with fresh tropical fruit and healthy organic choices that will fill everyone with energy and prepare you for a long day of reading good books on the beach. A tasty vegan option is also available. Healthy evening meals will be cooked, besides me of course, by\u00a0Lambros’s<\/strong>\u00a0mother, who cooks typical southern Cretan food. In two workshops you will also learn from me the exciting art of cooking on fire, fermentation and traditional Greek dishes, all in line with my philosophy of food preparation. All ingredients will come from neighbouring farmers and the garden to the table.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Yoga<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Yoga with\u00a0Nathalie<\/strong>\u00a0is suitable for all levels and all ages. Every morning we will move with her for an hour and get to know Hatha yoga. ‘Tha’ \u2013 moon, ‘Ha’ \u2013 sun. Hatha yoga is the science of purifying the body and awakening prana energy. Hatha yoga balances the left and right sides of the body, the feminine-masculine energy, the yin and yang of our body<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gua Sha with Rea<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Local herbalist Rea will teach us everything about facial care with local Cretan herbs that she uses in her natural cosmetics. She will also show us the art of face yoga with a Gua Sha stone.<\/p>\n<\/div>
