<\/a><\/p>\nQueenstown<\/strong>\u00a0is one of New Zealand\u2019s top visitor destinations and if you come to the region you\u2019ll understand why. For me it was again a Lord of the Rings highlight.\u00a0The town sits on the shore of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu among dramatic ranges. Queenstown is great in summer or winter. Mostly it’s a very “youngster” town with a lot of skiers and snowboarders.\u00a0If hardcore adventure isn’t your thing, there are plenty of mellow options available like walking and hiking…<\/p>\n To fill our tummies we were told it’s a must to try out the famous Ferg Burger.\u00a0<\/strong>The burgers are ridiculously massive and to be honest I had better. But I guess we had to try it out, so tick on that on our to do list.<\/p>\n If your not on a I Quite Sugar programme, I recommend the beautiful chocolate cafe right next to the lake. Patagonia<\/strong> is a place\u00a0where you can experience the magic of chocolate creation firsthand. Indulge the raw goodness of chocolate mixed with the finest local natural produce.<\/p>\n Head out of Queenstown and the drama of the Central Otago\u00a0landscape unfolds around you. I really wanted to visit the rural Glenorhy, which is forty minutes from Queenstown at the northern tip of Lake Wakatipu and Paradise Valley.
