My Favourite Hormone Balancing Smoothie


Here is a recipe for my favourite hormone balancing smoothie. The key ingredient is Maca - A peruvian root vegetable that can grow at almost any altitude, Maca has been known as the "Peruvian Ginseng", for it's numerous health benefits.  Maca contains high amounts of vitamin B, E, and C.  It also has magnesium, iron, zinc and calcium.  It's been known to help boost energy, sex drive, and even help clear up skin... An all around root that can help from girls in puberty to women in menopause.

  • r - raw
  • v - vegetarian
  • veg -vegan
  • Ingredients
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 4 whole dates
  • 4 tbsp cacao nibs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp SunWarrior protein powder (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter

Blend blend blend and drink!
