Healthy Banana Bread filled with Nutella

The "oh my gosh" moment is here again! A banana bread filled with homemade Nutella sounds surreal, imagine adding "healthy" to it? It is possible and I can't wait for you guys to try it. This recipe was also issued in Viva magazine.

  • Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup buckwheat flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 3 Tbsp coconut sugar

Heat your oven to 175 °C. First mix together all of your dry ingredients, in another bowl mix the wet (eggs, coconut oil, bananas, apple cider vinegar, almond milk). Mix in the wet ingredients into the dry. Pour into a loaf tin just 1/4 of your banana mix, spread over your homemade Nutella and then pour the rest of the banana mix on the top. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve with healthy ice cream or coconut cream.
