Raw Chocolate Cups


These Raw Chocolate Cups are not perfect, but I made a pact with myself that it doesn’t need to be always perfect to photograph. So here they are my messed up but still very delicious Raw Chocolate Cups.


  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup liquid cacao butter
  • 1/6 cup preferred liquid sweetener (agave syrup, maple syrup, coconut nectar, etc.)

Filling (optional)

  • 10 teaspoons penut butter/almond butter/jam etc.

For the chocolate slowly whisk together the ingredients until smooth. Optional add-ins: mint extract, salt, cinnamon, maca, berry powders, nutmeg, chili, ginger, etc. Pour about 1 teaspoon of the liquid chocolate into the bottom of your chocolate molds to cover the bottoms. Put in the freezer for 5 minutes so the chocolate has hardened. Scoop 1 teaspoon of your preferred filling onto each chocolate base, then cover with the remaining liquid chocolate. Put in the freezer for 10-20 minutes or until hardened. If you decided you don’t want the filling, just pour your chocolate to the top and let it freeze for a bit.
