We finally see Nama working with a very talented young team from photography, make up to video – behind the scenes. Department store Nama has its heritage and is known for mature women picking up their fashion there. By involving youthful Anela Sabanagic, Anže Mežan, David Paige as a photographer and Žiga Zupančič documenting behind the scenes, they amused younger buyers and implied a sense of “street style” back in the day when the term actually implied glamour.
The S/S Collection:
This collection has great drama and emotion, I loved the white pants by Nataša Hrupič that emphasized masculinity in a woman. Particularly charming was a long shirt dress with colorful imprinted flowers also by Nataša. Clothes were classy enough, and possessed of enough elegance for a independent, working and ambitious woman.
There were stylings that were a bit beholden to its historical legacy, but the collection of different designers nevertheless made its point- about revisiting the classic, but still making a statement.
