No matter how old you are, the best accessory with a skirt is a suntan. Well my tan is long gone and I’m already longing for the summer days.
Here I’m wearing a hell lot of poodles that I think make my outfit very playful. This is an old shirt from Escada collection and probably their most known one. I loved the leap towards playfulness that was an indication of fashion maybe getting bored with being sensible or one colored. This year we still see a lot of collections in prints that are lapsing into fun frivolity instead.
I think we all feel a desperate need for a shot of color and crazy prints, despite (or perhaps because of) the collective gloom about recessionary prospects, savings and rising taxes. But there are still reasons to be cheerful: H&M can take care of our need for colors, meanwhile Zara or Asos can deliver us silky dresses with animal/galaxy/nature prints. Very true that neither will provide much protection against winter circumstances, but harsh times may call for an occasional soft touch 😉
Stay tuned for my next post where we are going to feast our eyes on my delicious raw cakes… Finally! Never mind the doom and dark clouds; let us eat cake!
