Winter go away! I protest it! Cold, gloomy days, layering clothes, big woolen coats, hats, gloves, boots… well it doesn’t sound all that bad, I guess I can give it a try.

As you can see on the pictures I am clinging on to the last days of the sun, wearing flats without tights. As I mentioned in previous posts I adore ballet flats and everything that doesn’t hurt my feet, but still looks undeniably chic. I praise the Ljubljana equivalent, as seen at some of the fashion week spring shows, where the models glided in soft flats, slippers or even barefoot, unencumbered by heels. You can look like a goddess even if you remain faithful to your flats.

Sometimes when I look around it seems that women think “that shoes are ladders”. If it’s not necessary why suffer? Elegance is not maximizing your ego with sky high heels, its about feeling nice “and how can you feel nice when you have shoes that are like a prosthesis?” (a reassuring remark from the queen of flats – Roger Vivier).
